Lumitree is a native macOS app. Your mind maps never leave your Mac unless you explicitly export them. We don't have a cloud sync service, we don't upload your data, and we don't run analytics inside the app.
What the landing page collects
When you sign up with your email on lumitree.app we store:
- Your email address
- Your IP address, country, and browser user-agent (automatically attached by Cloudflare)
- A timestamp of when you signed up
- A founder number if you were among the first 500
That's it. No cookies, no tracking pixels, no third-party scripts. This data lives in Cloudflare KV, scoped to our account, and is used only to email you about Lumitree releases.
What the app collects
Nothing. The app has no telemetry, no crash reporter, no "usage analytics" toggle hidden in settings. Lumitree is a plain macOS app that reads and writes files on your disk.
If you connect an AI provider (Claude, OpenAI) by pasting your own API key, your prompts are sent directly from your Mac to that provider — we never see them. You can also use Apple's on-device model for fully offline AI.
How to delete your data
Email hello@lumitree.app with "delete me" and the email address you signed up with. We'll remove your record from KV within 48 hours and confirm by replying.
Third parties
The landing page and email gate run on Cloudflare Pages and Cloudflare KV. Email forwarding runs on Cloudflare Email Routing. That's the entire list.
